Led by the dynamic duo of Chris Olson and Deron Lien, the Raiders quickly set out looking for the upset. Olson's goal early in the first half would put the Sawns on attention. Answering the call, LA made several strong attacks on their own, receiving goals from Corey Irwin, Janni Mirosevic, and Mark Whelan in the frame. Refusing to back down, Deron Lien would kick three goals of his own, keeping 951 in the game. The second half would see the Swans pull away, as Mirosevic, Irwin and Whelan would add to their totals. On the other side, strong play by fast improving Allen "Joe" Frazier and Manny Barela, would help to keep the Raiders afloat. 951 would try to make a run behind the attacks of Olson and Lien, but the Swans defense held strong. The results on the board would reflect a hard fought win for the Swans.
