Round 6 saw "Battle For The Empire, part Deux", as the IE Fire faced off against the 951 Raiders. With the game being played in the Inland Empire, both teams were loking to prove themselves the dominant force in the region. The Raiders would get out of the gates quickly with goals from Deron Lien and Chris Olson. These two would continue to be offensive machines in the match, as they ran circles around the Fire's defense. With 951 quickly pulling away from the Fire, tempers on the field began to flare. Obviously unhappy with the score, Fire captains Darrin "Dazza" Olsen and Matthew "Mad Dog" Morgan tried to carry their team on their backs. Though each would kick a goal, they were unable to subdue the Purple Raider attack. The result would be a dominating victory for the Raiders.
